Robert is a Consummate and seasoned Chartered Insurer, versatile Marketer and Administrator who has been tried, tested, and excelled in assigned responsibilities with over twenty-five (25) years of cognate experience in the Insurance Industry spanning from Underwriting to Marketing.

He started his Insurance career in 1990 with Phoenix of Nigeria Assurance Plc as an Underwriter in the General Accident Department. He was later transferred to Kano as the Branch Manager between 1997 and 2000 where he excelled in the assignment and later came back to the head office to Head the Strategic Business Unit 1, 2000 to 2004 and later became the Group Head Marketing 2005 to 2007.

He joined Royal Exchange Assurance Nigeria Plc in 2007 before joining Equity Assurance Plc (Now SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc) in November 2007 as a Senior Manager in the marketing department.

Between 2011 and 2014, he was Assistant Controller, Head Brokers Unit at the head office.

2014 to 2016, (Controller) Regional Head, South East/South-South Regions Operating from PortHarcourt.

2016 to 2018, Controller Business Development, Head Office.

2019 to Date, Assistant General Manager, Head, Business Development

Robert Ewuzie is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Bayero University, Kano, and Masters of Business Administration from Lagos State University Ojo.

He has attended several courses/seminars. He is happily married with children.
