Group Personal Accident is a policy that provides a group of employees/ people with 24 hours protection against accidental injury or death resulting from works, sports, leisure, domestic and other activities carried out within a geographical location.

The policy indemnifies the Insured against loss or damage as a result of death or bodily injury occasioned by accidental, violent, external, and visible means independent of any other cause. It is a benefit policy and is not subject to the principle of indemnity. The cover could be as wide as worldwide.

Under Group Personal Accident, the party taking up the policy (the umbrella organization) is known as the Insured while the member covered in the policy is the insured persons.
