SUNU Nigeria recently launched its latest CSR initiative in honor of Pink October, offering free breast cancer screenings to 100 women as part of its ongoing commitment to promote breast health and early detection. This initiative, aligned with the SUNU Group’s Pink October campaign theme, “A Small Effort, A Great Protection!” took place at the DIAMED Centre in Lekki, Lagos, and attracted a diverse group of participants.
The initiative featured educative sessions, along with mammograms and clinical breast exams conducted by qualified medical professionals. This effort highlights SUNU Nigeria’s commitment to preventive healthcare and empowering women, with the goal of reducing the impact of breast cancer and improving the overall health and well-being of Nigerian women
Mrs. Ajayi Funmilola, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’m so grateful to SUNU Nigeria for providing this free advanced mammogram screening. Early detection is key, and this initiative has given me peace of mind. Thank you for prioritizing women’s health.”
